Channeling Her Inner Addams
I had the pleasure of working with Trinity Lawrence and her daughter, Penny, on a wonderfully creative and imaginative session. This shoot was inspired by the amazing time we had during a previous collaboration, where Penny posed as Arya Stark for a Game of Thrones-themed session. We had so much fun with that shoot that we were eager to come up with another opportunity to work together again. For this session, we decided to lean into a spooky, Wednesday Addams-inspired theme, blending creativity, fantasy, and just the right touch of eerie charm.
The shoot took place at a rustic cemetery, providing the perfect moody backdrop for this hauntingly beautiful session. We made sure to be respectful of the space, carefully choosing our spots to capture the spooky vibe while honoring the cemetery as holy ground. We had a lot of fun getting creative with different “Wednesday” looks and exploring different angles and locations, all while making sure Penny felt comfortable and at ease throughout the session. It was definitely a unique experience, and it was such a pleasure to do it with such a fun mother-daughter duo!
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at our creative session, along with Trinity and Penny’s thoughts on the experience:
How did you find out about Creative Chelle Studio?
Trinity: A friend of mine told me about it.
Penny: She lives in our neighborhood and my mom is her friend.
What kind of session did we capture for you?
Trinity: It was a fun fantasy/costume shoot.
How did you feel about our ability to make you comfortable and capture your desired moments?
Trinity: Michelle was awesome. Great ideas and easy to take direction from. We had ideas and Michelle was awesome to go along and see what happened!
Penny: Very creative and flexible when it came to the poses.
Were there any specific moments or aspects of the session that stood out to you?
Trinity: The cemetery as the backdrop was the best. Played into the Wednesday vibe perfectly and it was just awesome.
What did you enjoy most about working with us?
Penny: Because it was Halloween shoots it was very fun to make them look spooky and match the theme we were going for!
Would you recommend us to others, and if so, why?
Trinity: Yes, it was always so fun getting pictures taken and I felt very comfortable with what we were doing!
It was a pleasure to work with Trinity and Penny again, building on the creative energy from our previous Game of Thrones shoot. Sessions like these highlight the fun and creativity of themed photography, capturing memories that feel just as magical as the moments themselves.
